Presentation of the library:
The library has been located on the northernmost side of the school since 2010
The library of the Higher School of Teachers Bouzareah works to develop its collections, whether by purchase, gift, deposit, or subscription, especially for periodicals. It is an integrated total system whose mission is mainly limited to serving university education and scientific research. Its operations and services are computerized with a standard system for automated management of libraries “Syngeb”.
The library also has an internal system that defines the applicable laws and organizational conditions, which consists of eight articles that include all the working hours of the library and lending, conditions of lending – internal lending and external lending, general ethics, penalties, and finally provisions.
Library Floors
Ground floor: It has a reading room + two rooms for individual and group work with a capacity of 250 seats.
First floor: Director’s office, bibliographic research office, multimedia room (professors, postgraduate students), digitization office, and other two reading rooms.
Second floor: The second floor includes the reception and orientation office, the office of the documentary processing and acquisition service, the lending and returning area, and the storage of the documentary stock.
Objectives of the library:
The objectives of the library of the Higher School of teachers in Bouzareah can be
summarized as follows:
- Supporting the educational process by supporting scientific courses with references and
sources - Encouraging scientific research
- Providing modern resources to keep pace with scientific and technological development
- Developing information services to meet the needs of beneficiaries
- Utilizing modern technological means to access information
- Serving the community and working for its advancement and development, which is the
main pillar in building an advanced base for the information industry that has the ability to
advance development in society.

The library has an estimated staff of 25 employees with different degrees of specialization

- The library’s automated catalog search service in the is available on 30 dedicated computers.
- Subscription service to the national database ‘Iqraa’ and a group of global databases under
the SNDL management system. - WIFI Internet connection service.

Registered patrons of the library:
All students, faculty, staff, and researchers benefit from the services of the library, and the
number of registrants in the school library has reached 6055 for the academic year 2023/2024,
